I have always loved beautiful hotels. From historic European properties and contemporary city hotels to remote island resorts, every luxury hotel offers a completely different experience. Of course, impressive architecture and interior design are important. However, excellent service, atmosphere and attention to detail are what truly transform a beautiful hotel into an unforgettable one.

These are my personal experiences and honest opinions of course. After all, luxury is very personal, and the hotel that is perfect for one traveller may not be the right choice for another.
Luxury Shopping and Personal Style
Travel and style have always been closely connected for me. Before focusing on luxury travel and lifestyle, I worked as a fashion stylist for almost 20 years. Therefore, I naturally notice the boutiques, local designers, shopping districts and personal style of every destination I visit.
However, luxury shopping is not only about famous fashion houses. It can also mean discovering an independent designer, finding a unique vintage piece or visiting a beautifully designed store that reflects the character of a city.

Luxury Destinations and Experiences
Some destinations seem to understand luxury naturally. Paris combines fashion, architecture, fine dining and beautiful hotels, while Dubai offers modern extravagance and impressive shopping. Brisbane, meanwhile, has developed its own relaxed interpretation of luxury through its hotels, restaurants and local fashion scene.
Nevertheless, a luxury destination does not always need to be a major city. A quiet coastal town, private island or beautifully designed countryside hotel can feel equally special.
For me, luxury is often found in the complete experience. The right hotel, a memorable meal, beautiful surroundings and enough time to enjoy it all.
